About The Position

Grand Prix Subaru, part of the VIP Automotive Group, is actively hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Automotive Service Consultant to join our busy, high-volume Subaru dealership in Hicksville, NY. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Automotive Service Advisor experience.
• At least 1 year of dealership experience required.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Subaru experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department.
• Greet customers promptly and professionally.
• Schedule service appointments.
• Write accurate repair orders (ROs).
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and document vehicle issues.
• Recommend factory maintenance and additional services.
• Prepare estimates for parts and labor.
• Obtain customer approvals.
• Communicate repair progress and timelines.
• Coordinate repairs with technicians and dispatch.
• Review completed repairs with customers.
• Process repair orders accurately.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high CSI scores.
• Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
