About The Position

Automotive Repair Shop Service Advisor - Aiken Assistant Shop Manager will: -Take accountability for overall performance in partnership with Shop Manager. -Aid in the implementation of new company business best practices and/or initiatives. -Ensure shop consistently adheres to a high level of professionalism at all times. -Ensure that we consistently provide accurate and timely vehicle diagnosis, maintenance and repairs on all vehicles. -Help to oversee consistency in their day-to-day execution of the specific "Franchise Process" for success. -Be a leader in shop safety; ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental standards. -Ensure professional and timely communication to all customers. -Work quickly and efficiently without taking shortcuts. Oversee employee productivity as well. -Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the shop, customer waiting areas, and all bays. -See that all shop policies and procedures are adhered to consistently. -Open and close the shop in absence of the Shop Manager. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Min of 3 years' experience in automotive repair preferred.
  • 2-3 ASE Certifications preferable.
  • Min of 2 years supervisory experience required.
  • Goal-oriented, adaptable, driven, and willing to learn/grow with the company.
  • Willing and able to train and assist employees; give clear direction to all employees.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule having regular, consistent attendance.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. and continuously move around all areas of the shop.
  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written. Detail oriented.
  • Displays a friendly, helpful attitude towards all customers.
  • Must have valid, current driver's license.
  • Honest and acts with integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 ASE Certifications preferable.
