Job Details Salary: From $55,000 to $100,000 per year Job Type: Full Time Location: Madison, NJ 07940 Position Overview As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for service customers. Your role involves greeting customers professionally, accurately identifying service needs, and promoting services and products. You will provide cost and time estimates, communicate progress, secure authorizations, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a service advisor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Positive attitude and energetic personality.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet service customers promptly and courteously.
  • Inspect vehicles and review service history to identify service requirements.
  • Promote sales of services, parts, and accessories based on thorough product knowledge.
  • Provide accurate cost and time estimates for recommended services.
  • Obtain customer authorization for service work and communicate any changes promptly.
  • Monitor service progress and keep customers informed of updates or changes.
  • Administer warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Confirm appointments with customers by phone prior to scheduled service.
  • Conduct post-repair follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Inspect vehicles before delivery to verify service quality and communicate results to customers.
  • Comply with state and federal laws regarding automobile repair and consumer protection.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Madison Honda’s values in all interactions.
