About The Position

Vista Nissan is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Advisor to join their high-performing team. This role serves as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring clear communication, accurate estimates, and a positive service experience. The Service Advisor will guide customers through maintenance and repair decisions, review warranties, and uphold the company's reputation for trusted automotive care. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments, enjoy assisting others, and are dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • At least 2 years of automotive dealership experience in a service advisor or similar role
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Greet each customer promptly and courteously; set a professional and welcoming tone
  • Listen to customer concerns and document them clearly on repair orders
  • Review warranty and service contract coverage and explain repair recommendations
  • Provide accurate cost and time estimates before work begins
  • Keep customers informed on repair progress and contact them promptly with updates
  • Advise customers of additional maintenance needs in a transparent, professional manner
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate with technicians, and manage repair order flow
  • Interpret warranty information and handle related claims appropriately
  • Assist the Service Manager as needed and follow all company policies and safety procedures
