About The Position

Lum's Auto Center in Warrenton, Oregon is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, community-oriented Service Advisor to join our growing dealership's service team. Service Advisors assist in delivering remarkable experiences to our customers and are responsible to provide intake, consultation and advice regarding service and maintenance to our customers. They offer logical diagnostic services or repairs in response to the customer's concerns. Provide accurate estimates for all the services or repairs recommended. Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with an ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and the Internet.
  • Professional and personable demeanor.
  • Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Responding to incoming calls
  • Greeting and assisting customers, and treating all clientele with courtesy and respect.
  • Logging customer details and comments in our system.
  • Asking questions to assist in diagnostics of vehicle issues.
  • Tracking progress of each vehicle service.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Answering customers' questions regarding vehicle repairs and assessed costs.
  • Accepting payments from customer upon completion of services.
  • Ensuring potential customers are aware of any promotions.
  • Assisting with various other tasks at the dealership.
