About The Position

BIG O TIRES has immediate openings for experienced service advisors and customer service professionals. We are actively interviewing proven TEAM MEMBER candidates for our Service Centers. If you have demonstrated expertise as an Auto Repair Advisor or in tire sales, and you aim to excel in your field, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sales drive and is committed to meeting our customers’ automotive needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and service management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival for vehicle service.
  • Listen attentively to customers’ vehicle concerns and service requests to accurately assess their needs.
  • Clearly explain recommended repair services, associated costs, and estimated timelines to customers.
  • Schedule and coordinate vehicle service appointments efficiently to optimize shop productivity.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle repairs.
  • Communicate effectively between customers and technicians to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Follow up with customers after service to confirm satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Process service orders, billing, and payments in accordance with company policies.
