Requirements
- Experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Automotive Service Consultant preferred
- Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain technical automotive information in simple terms
- Organized and able to manage multiple repair orders
- Comfortable using dealership management or service scheduling software
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly in the service drive and provide a welcoming experience
- Listen to vehicle concerns and accurately write repair orders
- Recommend factory maintenance and needed automotive repairs
- Prepare and explain service estimates, timelines, and costs
- Communicate clearly with automotive technicians regarding repair needs
- Provide status updates to customers by phone, text, or email
- Review completed repairs with customers at vehicle delivery
- Maintain strong CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and customer retention
- Schedule service appointments and help manage daily shop workflow
