About The Position

Volkswagen of Corpus Christi, a family-owned dealership for over 16 years, is seeking motivated individuals for an Automotive Sales Representative position. The role offers unlimited income potential and professional training for candidates with experience in sales, retail, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, bartending, serving, banking, or other customer-facing roles. The company will provide training in the automotive business for successful candidates who excel at helping customers, building relationships, and earning based on performance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working directly with customers in sales, retail, hospitality, restaurants, banking, or customer service.
  • Enjoys meeting new people and building relationships.
  • Comfortable communicating by phone, text, email, and using computer systems or CRM software.
  • Strong listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Coachable, competitive, dependable, and motivated to succeed.
  • Positive attitude with a professional appearance.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Available to work Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers find the Volkswagen that best fits their needs, lifestyle, and budget.
  • Demonstrate vehicles through walk-arounds and test drives while explaining features and benefits.
  • Guide customers through the vehicle purchase process from start to finish.
  • Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Follow up with customers by phone, text, email, and CRM to answer questions and earn their business.
  • Manage internet leads, phone opportunities, showroom traffic, and repeat customers.
  • Keep accurate customer notes and complete follow-up activities in our CRM.
  • Work closely with sales managers to provide an outstanding customer experience and achieve monthly sales goals.
