About The Position
This role is for a motivated and driven individual ready to explore a career in automotive sales. As an Automotive Sales Representative/Consultant, you will play an important role in guiding customers through the vehicle-buying process, from the first conversation to handing over the keys. You will focus on understanding each guest’s needs, building trust, and helping them find a vehicle they will truly enjoy driving. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a customer-focused, goal-oriented environment. You will be joining Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, a top-performing automotive dealership that is consistently ranked as one of the highest-volume Chrysler and Jeep dealerships in the region. Requirements
- Computer skills (Word, CRM, Texting, Email)
- A current valid driver’s license is required for all employees
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a clean driving record
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Be able to pass a drug screen
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, help diagnose their needs and explain how their needs translate to a new vehicle
- Show and explain exactly what their new car has and how it operates
- Follow up with leads via phone, text, and email
- Negotiate sales transactions
- Attend training and sales meetings
- Complete sales transaction paperwork
