Fleet Representative | Commission-Based - Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
About The Position
Looking for a role where your organizational skills and customer focus truly make an impact? Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM is growing and looking for a motivated Fleet Representative to help manage and support our fleet operations from start to finish. As a Fleet Representative, you will play a key role in managing the acquisition, maintenance, and distribution of fleet vehicles, while also overseeing service and parts coordination to ensure the smooth operation of fleet vehicles throughout their lifecycle. This position requires strong organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid understanding of both the automotive industry and fleet management. Previous experience in fleet management, service, or parts is a plus, but we’re also looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within our dealership.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Fleet Management, Service, or Parts experience with a good track record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision, hiring, and evaluating the work of employees as a first-line supervisor
- Make decisions regarding whether vehicles meet environmental standards, and determine whether they should be purchased, serviced, or disposed of
- Develop and administer vehicle/equipment asset management processes, including procurement, servicing, maintenance, and disposition
- Coordinate with the service and parts departments to ensure timely repairs and availability of necessary components for fleet vehicles
- Establish and monitor purchasing, operational, and replacement strategies and practices for the most cost-effective fleet operation
- Ensure unit compliance with all Federal, State & Local laws and regulations related to vehicle repair shop operations, vehicle maintenance, and mobile equipment care
