Automotive Sales Manager
About The Position
Manage retail business including sales process, finance, and sales team. Assist in the management of all other store processes as needed and support omni-channel sales. This role involves meeting and exceeding sales targets, managing and leading the sales team, driving CRM metric accountability, and achieving KPI targets. The position also supports digital retailing initiatives, ensures completion of finance deal packages, and works with sales consultants on finance processing. Additionally, the role focuses on achieving high customer service scores, training sales staff, overseeing store management, supporting inventory and reconditioning processes, pricing cars, supporting omni-channel sales, monitoring store compliance, and managing employee, consumer, and vendor issues.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in Car Sales
- 1 year of management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience in car sales management
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
- Ability to influence
- Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Manage and lead the sales team (scheduling, interviewing, hiring, performance management)
- Drive strong CRM metric accountability
- Achieve KPI targets
- Support Digital Retailing initiatives, including Rent2Buy
- Ensure completion of Finance deal packages
- Promptly follow up on all missing documents and pending deals
- Work with Sales Consultants on finance processing and metrics
- Support the Finance and Insurance process and performance
- Achieve high customer service score (NPS)
- Train Sales Staff in customer interaction and processes
- Oversee store management as the second highest employee at location
- Support inventory and reconditioning processes
- Pricing of cars as needed
- Support omni-channel sales
- Monitor Store and ICC (Internal Audit Checklist) compliance
- Manage employee, consumer and vendor issues as needed, including concerns and complaints with Car Sales Leadership and HR
