About The Position

As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and matching them with our inventory of new and pre-owned vehicles. You will assist customers through the entire sales process, including test drives, vehicle demonstrations, and finalizing sales.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required; experience in automotive, real estate, retail, or related fields is a plus. Training will be provided.
  • Professional appearance with a customer-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated with ambition to succeed.
  • Strong communication skills for effective customer and team interactions.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent customer service abilities.
  • Comfortable using computers, phone systems, and CRM software.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.
  • Submission of a resume and completion of an online assessment required for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers warmly and attentively listen to their vehicle preferences.
  • Accompany customers on test drives and highlight key vehicle features and technology.
  • Build strong customer relationships and develop a network of referrals.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of automotive products, inventory, and emerging technologies.
  • Address customer objections and navigate various sales scenarios effectively.
  • Provide regular updates and ideas to the Sales Manager.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Close sales and ensure timely vehicle delivery.
  • Utilize the dealership CRM system for customer follow-up and communication.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude and consistently give your best effort.
