We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. The Sales Consultant will be knowledgeable or willing to learn about our vehicle inventory, services, and financing options. This includes new and pre-owned vehicles, their features, safety functions, and related accessories.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
- Professional and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and achieve goals with limited supervision
- Strong focus on safety and customer service
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to read and understand instructions clearly
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with vehicle selection by presenting model options, features, and purchase or finance solutions according to dealership policies
- Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring adherence to all road safety regulations
- Facilitate vehicle delivery by clearly explaining vehicle operation, warranty coverage, and servicing requirements
- Maintain accurate sales records and documentation
- Stay current with knowledge of vehicle inventory, financing options, and dealership promotions
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs as required
- Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations
