We are seeking a motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team in Monroe, Michigan. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting customers in selecting vehicles, presenting product features, and facilitating sales and financing options. You will maintain strong product knowledge and deliver a professional and enjoyable buying experience, encouraging customer loyalty and repeat business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales goals
- Strong safety awareness and customer service focus
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and sales materials
Nice To Haves
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with vehicle selection, highlighting model options, features, and value-added products
- Conduct test drives following all road safety regulations
- Explain vehicle operation, warranty, and servicing procedures at delivery
- Maintain accurate sales records and documentation
- Negotiate sales ethically and professionally to close deals
- Stay informed about current vehicle models, accessories, financing options, and promotions
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational events as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations
