Requirements

Minimum of one year sales experience or equivalent training and education.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with consistent follow-up before and after sales.
Valid driver’s license.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers on the sales floor and perform thorough needs analysis to determine vehicle preferences.
Explain vehicle features and operate demonstrations both in the showroom and during test drives.
Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using the dealership’s computer system.
Work closely with Sales and Finance & Insurance managers to negotiate pricing, taxes, trade-ins, licensing fees, discounts, and financing or leasing options.
Regularly inspect the dealership lot inventory to stay informed of available vehicles.
Complete all required paperwork, coordinate vehicle delivery, and manage registration processes.
Deliver vehicles to customers, providing an orientation on features and functions.
Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings as required.
