We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team in Ventura, California. Position Overview As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will use your knowledge or willingness to learn about our vehicles, services, and financing options to effectively assist customers. Your role includes presenting both new and pre-owned vehicles in an engaging and professional manner that supports prompt sales and encourages customer loyalty through networking and repeat business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Sales experience is preferred but not required
- Professional and dependable work ethic
- Ability to achieve goals with minimal supervision
- Strong focus on safety and customer service
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional appearance
- Ability to read and understand instructions accurately
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles by explaining model options, features, and financing choices while adhering to dealership policies
- Conduct vehicle test drives ensuring safety and compliance with all traffic laws
- Provide thorough explanations of vehicle features, warranties, and service requirements during delivery
- Maintain accurate sales and customer documentation
- Negotiate sales clearly, ethically, and effectively to close deals
- Stay informed about the latest vehicle models, accessories, financing plans, and promotions
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and educational programs as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
