Requirements

  • Minimum of one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent sales skills, communication, and customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up and maintain client relationships before and after sales.
  • Current valid driver’s license required.
  • Mathematical aptitude including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct needs analysis regarding vehicle make, type, and desired features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in the showroom or during test drives.
  • Research availability of vehicle models and optional equipment using computer databases.
  • Collaborate with Sales and F&I Managers to negotiate pricing, taxes, trade-in allowances, licensing fees, discounts, and financing or lease terms.
  • Perform visual inspections of inventory on the lot.
  • Complete all sales paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Deliver vehicles and familiarize customers with their features.
  • Attend required training sessions and department meetings.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
