About The Position
The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing vehicles by presenting new and pre-owned options, features, and financing services in an informative and professional manner. This role maintains strong relationships to encourage repeat business and networking.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Professional, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Goal-oriented with strong customer service focus.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with vehicle selection and explain model options, features, value-added products, and financing options following dealership policies.
- Conduct vehicle test drives while ensuring compliance with speed limits and road safety rules.
- Facilitate vehicle delivery by explaining operation, warranty, and service requirements clearly.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation and records.
- Stay current on vehicle models, accessories, financing options, and promotional offers.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
