About The Position

Honda Libertyville, a part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join their high-performing sales team. This role is designed for a proven automotive salesperson with a strong track record in prospecting, follow-up, appointment setting, CRM utilization, value building, and deal closing. It is not an entry-level position, and the company is looking for individuals ready to compete and achieve high earnings. The position offers opportunities to sell both new Honda and pre-owned vehicles, with high-volume potential from internet, phone, and showroom leads.

Requirements

Automotive sales experience required
Proven ability to sell at a high volume, ideally 15+ vehicles per month
Strong follow-up habits and CRM discipline
Ability to work leads, set appointments and close deals
Competitive mindset with the drive to perform at the top of the sales board
Excellent communication, presentation and customer-service skills
Positive attitude, professional appearance and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Respond quickly and professionally to internet, phone and showroom opportunities
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using the CRM
Set appointments, follow up with prospects and create urgency
Build value in Honda and pre-owned vehicles, dealership advantages and available options
Overcome objections, present numbers confidently and close business
Deliver a professional customer experience from first contact through delivery
Consistently work toward individual and team sales goals
