Ira Ford Saco is adding an Automotive Sales Consultant to our new car sales team. If you bring a background in sales, a genuine enjoyment of working with people, and the focus to hit your targets, this could be the right fit. Requirements
- Prior automotive sales experience preferred
- Strong customer service, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and a collaborative team member
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to complete a background check
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers, address their questions, and help guide them toward the vehicle that fits their lifestyle and budget
- Offer test drives to all prospects and follow dealership procedures for verifying identification
- Present vehicle features, performance specs, and available options in a clear and engaging way
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets as set by the sales manager
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance to spot areas for improvement
- Stay sharp on Ford product knowledge across the full vehicle lineup
