We are seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Sales Consultant who enjoys working with customers and has a passion for sales. The ideal candidate will have knowledge or a willingness to learn about vehicles, services, and financing options. This role requires a confident and professional individual who can present vehicles effectively, assist customers in their purchase decisions, and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Dependable and able to work independently to meet goals.
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service.
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting vehicles by explaining model options, features, and additional products and services in accordance with dealership policies.
  • Conduct test drives while ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Facilitate vehicle delivery by clearly explaining vehicle operations, warranty, and servicing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales documentation.
  • Negotiate sales ethically and professionally to close deals effectively.
  • Stay informed about all vehicle models, accessories, financing options, and promotions.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations.
