About The Position

A sales consultant will be responsible for... helping a guest become a customer! You are the bridge between the guest and their future vehicle that suits their driving needs and preferences. You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the dealership's vehicles and their capabilities. We will teach you the road to the sale, delivery, negotiation and overall, give you the training to be successful so no experience is needed.

Requirements

  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • State driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record
  • Must meet other company requirements for employment such as background check and drug test
  • No experience is necessary. We will train you!

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests arriving at the dealership
  • Having knowledge of the dealership's vehicles and explaining their features and warranties to customers
  • Answer guest questions about cars, financing and purchase process
  • Accompany guests on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices
  • Negotiate vehicle prices and trade-in values for guest's vehicle
  • Coordinate with the finance department to determine each guest’s financing and ownership options
  • Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles
