About The Position

Shottenkirk Kia of Quincy is actively hiring motivated Automotive Sales Consultants / Automotive Sales Associates to join their high-performing Kia dealership team in Quincy, Illinois. The dealership is seeking energetic, customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoy building relationships. Candidates with experience in automotive sales, retail sales, hospitality, restaurants, customer service, call centers, wireless sales, or commission-based sales are encouraged to apply. While Kia experience is a plus, it is not required. The dealership provides paid training, strong leadership support, high showroom traffic, and ongoing professional development.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required
  • Kia sales experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, call centers, wireless sales, or commission sales is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and create customers for life
  • Assist customers in selecting the right new or used vehicle based on their needs and budget
  • Deliver professional vehicle presentations, walkarounds, and test drives
  • Become knowledgeable on Kia vehicles, trim levels, EV models, financing options, lease programs, safety features, and automotive technology
  • Educate customers on the features and benefits of Kia's award-winning vehicle lineup
  • Follow up with customers to generate repeat and referral business
  • Learn and apply proven automotive sales processes and objection-handling techniques
  • Maintain strong communication with sales managers and dealership leadership
  • Achieve monthly sales goals and customer satisfaction targets
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude every day
