About The Position

Shottenkirk Kia of Quincy is actively hiring motivated Automotive Sales Consultants / Automotive Sales Associates to join their team. This opportunity is suitable for both experienced automotive salespeople and individuals looking to enter the field for the first time. The role involves building long-term careers with a growing automotive brand known for its award-winning vehicles and technology. The company seeks energetic, customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoy building customer relationships. Experience in automotive sales, retail sales, hospitality, restaurants, customer service, call centers, wireless sales, or commission-based sales is encouraged. While Kia experience is a plus, it is not required. The dealership provides paid training, strong leadership support, high showroom traffic, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
  • Must be willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required
  • Kia sales experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, call centers, wireless sales, or commission sales is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and create customers for life
  • Assist customers in selecting the right new or used vehicle based on their needs and budget
  • Deliver professional vehicle presentations, walkarounds, and test drives
  • Become knowledgeable on Kia vehicles, trim levels, EV models, financing options, lease programs, safety features, and automotive technology
  • Educate customers on the features and benefits of Kia's award-winning vehicle lineup
  • Follow up with customers to generate repeat and referral business
  • Learn and apply proven automotive sales processes and objection-handling techniques
  • Maintain strong communication with sales managers and dealership leadership
  • Achieve monthly sales goals and customer satisfaction targets
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude every day
