About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring a Sales Associate at Napleton Toyota of Urbana. Sales Associates are the face of the dealership and help deliver a positive customer experience. The role involves assisting customers with vehicle selection, explaining vehicle features and options, maintaining customer relationships, and delivering vehicles. The position offers incentive-based earning potential and growth opportunities within a large automotive dealership group.

Requirements

At least 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic in a team environment.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

Assist dealership customers, answer questions, and help them select a vehicle suited to their needs.
Follow up with customers in a timely manner and maintain strong relationships.
Explain vehicle performance, applications, benefits, and optional equipment available for purchase.
Determine customers’ vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
Deliver vehicles and explain operating features, warranties, and paperwork to customers.
Stay informed about incoming inventory, vehicle features, accessories, and their benefits to customers.
Introduce customers to service department personnel and explain the quality and efficiency of available repairs and maintenance.
