About The Position

DriveTime is immediately hiring Automotive Reconditioners (Mitigation/Glass)! In short, the Automotive Reconditioner includes a variety of tasks that will overhaul, rebuild, and renovate the vehicle to bring the condition of the interior back to a presentable condition. Our Automotive Reconditioners are responsible for inspecting and identifying various needed cosmetic repairs using DriveTime standards and tools, completing glass repairs as necessary, and reviewing all completed work with lead/supervisor. They will also use, store, and maintain equipment properly, perform other duties as assigned, and maintain daily performance logs reviewed with the Reconditioning Center General Manager. The role requires achieving established goals for throughput, efficiency, and quality, establishing consistency among technicians by adhering to and enforcing DT Standards, and reviewing/communicating all issues with the appropriate Cosmetic Associate, Reconditioning Manager, and ICGM. Daily area inspections are performed to ensure clean and safe workstations, and the employee must portray a positive image of DriveTime and actively participate in creating a positive, professional work environment. The role also requires maintaining workstation performance while adhering to DriveTime guidelines, policies, and practices, and acting ethically and with integrity at all times.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Vocational/Technical degree or professional experience equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, and insurable DMV required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to communicate in English to ensure effective performance of the position in a safety-sensitive/technical environment.

Responsibilities
