About The Position

Team Automotive is seeking a dependable, motivated Express Lube / Quick Lube Technician to join its growing service team at Team Chevrolet of Goldsboro in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This full-time position is suited to someone who enjoys working on vehicles, takes pride in doing things correctly, and is interested in learning, growing, and advancing in the automotive industry. Automotive experience is a plus, while attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are emphasized.

The technician helps keep customers’ vehicles safe and reliable by performing routine maintenance and basic inspections. The role offers $18–$25 per hour based on experience, a rotating schedule, and no Saturdays. The stated hours are 7:30 AM–7:00 PM. Team Automotive describes a busy service department, a supportive team environment, training, and opportunities for advancement into higher-level technician positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Rotate and inspect tires.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Inspect batteries, belts, hoses, filters, and other maintenance items.
• Perform basic multipoint vehicle inspections.
• Check tire pressure and tread condition.
• Identify maintenance needs and communicate findings to the service team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow dealership safety and service procedures.
• Help provide fast, accurate service to customers.
