About The Position
The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring a Porter at Napleton Hyundai in Hazelwood. The Porter performs duties related to vehicle upkeep, including maintaining vehicle cleanliness and readiness, and transporting vehicles and customers. The role may also involve maintaining the dealership lot, showroom, building, and grounds, assisting with customer deliveries, and completing other assigned functions or special projects. The company describes growth opportunities across a group with more than 25 vehicle brands and 50+ dealerships in seven states, supported by more than 3,500 employees nationwide.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to handle machinery safely.
- Ability to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Ability to operate an automobile.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.
Responsibilities
- Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly, and move units as directed by Service managers in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
- Assist with customer deliveries.
- Ensure vehicles on the lot and in the showroom are clean and in good repair.
- Pick up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
- Assist with weather-related clean-up when necessary.
- Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed.
- Carry out other functions and special projects as assigned.
