About The Position

The Automotive Porter Lot Attendant performs duties related to vehicle maintenance and service and interacts with product specialists, service managers, sales managers, support staff, and customers. The role’s goal is to help ensure customers are fully satisfied when their vehicles are returned. Duties may change to meet business and organizational needs, and the listed responsibilities are not exhaustive. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to handle machinery safely.
Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles.
Demonstrated customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate an automobile.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, an MVR check, a drug test, and a credit report.

Responsibilities

Lead oneself and the team in a way that supports the company’s vision and mission.
Remove protective coverings and identification tags before returning completed vehicles to customers.
Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damage before returning them to customers, and promptly report damage.
Clean the interiors and exteriors of new and used vehicles.
Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly, move vehicles as directed, and follow dealership display standards.
Pick up and deliver vehicles to and from storage.
Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive.
Maintain the building and grounds as needed.
Assist with shop cleanup and deliveries when needed.
Perform duties and responsibilities safely.
