About The Position

Madison Honda is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Automotive Porter Lot Attendant to help maintain the appearance and condition of vehicles on the dealership lot. The role involves working with service and sales staff and customers to ensure vehicles meet the dealership’s quality standards before delivery. The attendant also helps keep the lot orderly, transports vehicles between the lot and storage areas, and assists with building, grounds, and shop maintenance as needed. The listed pay is $16 to $17 per hour, and the position is full-time in Madison, New Jersey.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate an automobile safely.
Experience handling machinery safely.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and with attention to safety.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including a background check, motor vehicle record review, drug test, and credit report.

Responsibilities

Support the company’s Vision and Mission through strong teamwork and leadership.
Remove protective coverings and identification tags from vehicles before delivery.
Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damage, and promptly report any issues.
Keep the vehicle lot orderly by moving cars according to dealership display standards.
Transport vehicles between the lot and storage areas.
Assist with building and grounds maintenance as needed.
Participate in shop clean-up and deliveries when required.
