About The Position

The Automotive Parts Warehouse Clerk is responsible for managing the stocking and dispensing of parts within the warehouse. This role involves verifying incoming shipments, reporting discrepancies, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parts department receiving area. The position also requires assisting with inventory control and performing data entry using a computer.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check

Responsibilities

• Stocking and dispensing parts
• Verifying incoming parts against packing slips
• Notifying parts manager of any shortages or overages when checking in stock
• Reporting any damaged goods received
• Preparing shipment of parts for local deliveries and parts to be shipped by common carrier
• Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Assisting in inventory control by participating in perpetual inventories
• Putting stock away in the proper locations after orders have been checked in
• Operating a computer and making data entry
