About The Position

Auto-Wares Group of Companies is hiring a full-time Automotive Parts Specialist serving the Cadillac, Houghton Lake, and Lake City areas in Michigan. The position involves providing customer-focused assistance by phone, identifying and selling automotive parts, answering calls, and billing invoices. Compensation is base pay plus commission on sales. The role offers hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of aftermarket automotive parts experience.
• Customer-focused approach and strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• No major driving violations.
• If over 25 years of age, no more than two moving violations in the past 3 years; if under 25, no more than two moving violations in the past 5 years.
• No more than one at-fault accident.
• Must comply with all physical requirements, including a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with both arms.

Responsibilities

• Create positive customer experiences with every phone call.
• Provide efficient, accurate, customer-focused assistance for incoming calls.
• Identify the correct automotive parts, offer product options, and finalize sales over the phone.
• Develop knowledge of the company's parts, services, and solutions.
• Offer available product options and solutions in keeping with the company's “Never Say No” values.
• Process orders, returns, and inquiries accurately within company systems.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations.
• Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and strong product knowledge in every interaction.
• Answer calls and bill invoices.
