About The Position

We are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family as an Automotive Parts Specialist. As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for providing and sourcing parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers, utilizing your parts knowledge to assist team members and customers, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. We welcome individuals with a genuine passion for helping customers with their automotive needs, whether through prior experience in the industry, personal projects, or a strong desire to learn and grow with our team.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great listening skills and empathy for customers
Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

Nice To Haves

Technical or Trade school courses or degree
Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
Experience in airport ground support equipment
Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems
Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
ASE Certifications

Responsibilities

Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
Use parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer customer questions
Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians
Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced environment
Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced
Inform customers on parts availability
