About The Position

We are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family as an Automotive Parts Specialist. This role is a great opportunity for those looking to build a career with us, seeking flexible work hours (day or night), or aiming to gain experience for future career exploration within the company. As a Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for providing and sourcing parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers, utilizing your parts knowledge to assist NAPA team members and customers, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with management and technicians, ask clarifying questions to ensure accurate parts research and sourcing, and inform customers about parts availability.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great listening skills and empathy for customers
Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

Nice To Haves

Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
Experience in airport ground support equipment
Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems
Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
ASE Certifications
Technical or Trade school courses or degree
Background and knowledge of automotive parts

Responsibilities

Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
Use parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer customer questions
