About The Position
Tulley Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Parts Counterperson to join their GMC and Buick parts department. This role is crucial for supporting service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale accounts by accurately identifying and sourcing parts, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service in a dynamic dealership setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dealership, independent repair facility, parts store, or related environment.
Requirements
- Previous automotive parts experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts systems and terminology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
Nice To Haves
- GM experience is a plus, but not required
- Dealertrack software experience is helpful
Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians, retail customers, and wholesale accounts with parts needs
- Accurately identify and source OEM parts and accessories
- Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders
- Maintain organized inventory and assist with stocking and receiving
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
- Help ensure efficient workflow within a high-volume parts department
