About The Position

Our Dealerships seeks a full-time, motivated, Parts Counter Person to enhance our service team! We are seeking a Parts Advisor to join our professional team. This role involves ordering, receiving, and billing parts, maintaining proper storage, stocking shelves, assisting retail customers and technicians, managing inventory, and ensuring a superior level of customer service. The position requires a customer-oriented, self-motivated team player with prior automotive parts experience and computer literacy. A flexible schedule including some evenings and Saturdays is necessary, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.

Requirements

  • Must be a customer-oriented, self-motivated team player
  • One to two years of prior automotive parts experience is required, either from a retail parts outlet or a dealership setting.
  • Must be computer literate
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule that will include some evenings and Saturdays
  • Must have a valid driver's license and few to no points on driving record.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, standing for a long period of time, bending, stooping, reaching.

Nice To Haves

  • Pallet jack experience preferred
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Order, receive, and bill all parts
  • Maintain proper storage of parts
  • Stock shelves
  • Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones
  • Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping
  • Pick-up and delivery of parts
  • Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean
  • Maintain a superior level of customer service
  • Other duties as directed by management
  • Alternate Weekends Required
