About The Position

BRAM Auto Group is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Person for their RT 22 Honda location. This role involves providing auto parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers, both in person and over the phone. The ideal candidate will use their parts knowledge to assist customers and team members, ensuring outstanding customer care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include using technology like computer systems, telephones, and web-based catalog systems to provide parts pricing and availability, and making accurate selections of parts to meet customer demand. The position also requires following management requests and instructions. Entry-level candidates with leadership potential and a detailed-oriented mindset are welcome to apply, especially those who genuinely enjoy assisting customers with auto parts and service questions. The company is willing to train candidates who are eager to learn all things automotive, even if they lack prior experience in auto parts. Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving History.
  • High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great listening skills and empathy for customers
  • Ability to adapt and maintain composure under certain circumstances.
  • Bring solutions and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Work in a team environment and collaborate with others

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Parts Experience at a dealership is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Previous wholesale experience with Honda parts preferred
  • ASE Certifications
  • Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision.
  • Knowledge of Dealership Management System, CDK a plus.
  • Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)

Responsibilities

  • Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter/over the phone
  • Use your parts knowledge to assist other team members answer questions for customers
  • Providing outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our Store!
  • Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
  • Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
  • Use technology (computer), telephone, and Web-Based Catalog System.
  • Provide parts pricing and availability to our customers.
  • Make accurate selections of parts needed for customer demand.
  • Follow management requests and instructions.
