About The Position

The Automotive Painter transforms raw builds into road-ready trucks by preparing surfaces and applying high-quality paint finishes to customer specifications. The role covers truck bodies, chassis, cabs, trailers, and tractors, and involves applying a variety of colors and finishes, interpreting blueprints and work orders, and maintaining paint tools and equipment. The Painter also handles hazardous waste properly and performs routine safety and quality checks while following company safety policies in a manufacturing plant.

Requirements

• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic computer skills to support workflow and documentation.
• Familiarity with common paint tools and their proper use.
• Ability to understand and apply measurements accurately.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for special paint applications and finishes.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing.
• Previous experience working on truck bodies.

Responsibilities

• Paint truck bodies, chassis, cabs, trailers, and tractors.
• Operate cup guns, pressure pots, plural systems, and airless sprayers.
• Apply a variety of colors and finishes accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Set up and perform preventative maintenance on paint tools and equipment.
• Handle hazardous waste properly and conduct routine safety and quality checks.
• Follow company safety policies and help maintain a clean, secure workspace.
