About The Position
Paint Prep Job Details Assist Lead Paint Technician in prepping vehicles for paint Specific job duties include but are not limited to: prepping panels, masking panels, block sanding, mixing primer, spraying primer, cut and buff, minimal bodywork, mixing paint and mixing clear coat Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the vehicle to the body technician Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective repair Paint touch-up and chip repair· Perform minor cosmetic repairs and body damage repair· Headlight reconditioning· Dupont / Spies experience preferred but not required Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and must be able to walk, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Minimum 2 years Automotive paint experience
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening
- Willing to work in a fast paced environment with changing needs & priorities
- Positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Dupont / Spies experience preferred but not required
