About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Office Manager to oversee the daily accounting and administrative operations of our dealership. This leadership role is responsible for managing office personnel, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and producing timely financial reports that reflect the dealership's financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and prior experience in automotive dealership accounting operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in automotive dealership accounting and office management required.
  • Strong understanding of dealership financial statements and accounting practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, staff, vendors, and manufacturers.

  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and dealership management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, mentor, and supervise office staff.
  • Analyze, develop, and improve office operations and procedures.
  • Assist in compiling monthly financial data in accordance with dealership guidelines, manufacturer requirements, and reporting deadlines.
  • Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis.
  • Reconcile dealership assets and liabilities daily.
  • Ensure all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, incentives, and receivables, are accurate and current.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations.
  • Support accounting personnel to ensure schedules and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Adhere to and enforce company accounting policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Prepare and generate accurate monthly financial statements within established deadlines.
  • Collaborate with dealership leadership to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
