About The Position

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is growing and seeking experienced Automotive Office Managers / Dealership Accounting Managers for opportunities throughout our organization. If you have strong Dealership accounting experience, leadership skills, and Business Office expertise, this is an opportunity to take the next step with a stable, growing automotive group. Requirements

• Automotive dealership accounting experience required
• Strong accounting and reconciliation knowledge
• Proven leadership and team-development skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office and dealership system proficiency

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of Automotive Office Manager experience preferred
• DealerTrack experience is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the dealership Business Office/accounting team
• Oversee daily accounting and administrative operations
• Ensure accuracy of financial schedules and reconciliations
• Review general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and payables
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Analyze income, expenses, and account variances
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards
• Ensure timely and accurate dealership financial reporting
• Partner with dealership management and department leaders
• Support payroll and commission processes in coordination with HR
• Train, develop, and support Business Office team members
