About The Position

Fred Anderson Automotive Group is seeking an entry-level Automotive Maintenance Technician for Toyota of Charleston. The technician performs factory-scheduled vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, lubrication, and replacement of fluids, tires, wipers, and filters. The position also involves checking routine gauges and fluid levels, participating in training, keeping current on products and vehicle maintenance requirements, and providing a strong service experience for customers.

Requirements

Friendly and outgoing personality.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Prior hands-on and technical work experience.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform factory-scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and lubrication.
Replace fluids, tires, wipers, and filters.
Check routine gauges and levels, including tire pressure and transmission and power steering fluids.
Participate in classes and training to advance vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Stay up to date on products and vehicle maintenance requirements.
