About The Position

The TXM Technician performs requested vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations and maintenance, fluid checks, and vehicle inspections for possible needed repairs. The technician is expected to maintain a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and retention. Work must be completed efficiently and accurately according to dealership and factory standards and TXM procedures.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly perform the 21-point vehicle maintenance inspection report.
• Advise the Service Advisor when services are recommended, additional work is needed, outlined work is unnecessary, or repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Complete work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately according to dealership and factory standards.
• Drain oil, replace the oil filter, grease fittings, fill the crankcase with factory-specified oil, start the engine, check oil pressure, and check for leaks according to TXM procedure.
• Perform the MPI according to TXM procedure.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels, including power steering, windshield washer, transmission, transaxle, engine oil, coolant, brake, clutch, transfer case, and front and rear differentials, as applicable.
