About The Position

We are looking for a technician who is starting out, has some experience in quick lane service work at a dealership or a fast lube shop. Looking for an energetic, upbeat team member with a positive attitude and a desire to grow as a technician. The technicians we have on our team possess a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests. Christian Brothers Automotive in Maumelle is hiring a Fast Lane / Lube Tech / Tire Technician / GS General Service Technician to work with a great team and have the opportunity to grow and learn to become a Master Technician. If if you are a proficient lube and tire tech and want to grow as a technician, this is a great place to learn. Also, if you are just starting out but are able to do mechanical work or electrical troubleshooting I would love to visit with you as well.

Requirements

Current driver’s license with no DUI or Reckless Driving Infractions on your record.
This is an entry level position.
We prefer a high school or equivalent diploma.
Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
Drive manual transmission vehicles
Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
Efficiently navigate a computer

Responsibilities

Primary role will be working in our Priority Service Bays with our Lead Priority Service Technician.
General Service Technician / Mechanics.
Performing maintenance and repair services including but not limited to: oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, comprehensive vehicle checks, and more.
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
Complete full, accurate, and honest digital vehicle inspections.
Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
Assist in all housekeeping functions as needed/directed.
Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the conditions of a guest's vehicle.
Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
