About The Position
Christian Brothers Automotive in Maumelle is seeking an energetic, upbeat team member with a positive attitude and a desire to grow as a technician. This entry-level position is ideal for someone starting out or with some experience in quick lane service work at a dealership or a fast lube shop. The technicians on our team possess a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests. You will work in our Priority Service Bays with our Lead Priority Service Technician, performing maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and comprehensive vehicle checks. You will also work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns, complete digital vehicle inspections, ensure preventive maintenance reports are accurate, and comply with all relevant regulations. We offer a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled shop with factory scan tools and a family-friendly work environment.
Requirements
- Current driver’s license with no DUI or Reckless Driving Infractions on your record.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
- Ability to work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
- Dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools.
- Ability to walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to keep a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to efficiently navigate a computer.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in quick lane service work at a dealership or a fast lube shop.
- Proficient lube and tire tech.
- Able to do mechanical work or electrical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance and repair services including but not limited to: oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, comprehensive vehicle checks, and more.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest digital vehicle inspections.
- Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
- Assist in all housekeeping functions as needed/directed.
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the conditions of a guest's vehicle.
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
