About The Position

The Automotive Locksmith will perform high-volume key decoding, cutting, and programming at vehicle yards in Houston, Texas. This is consistent, on-site production work rather than retail locksmithing or roadside service. The role involves working directly on domestic vehicles such as Ford, GM, and Chrysler, as well as select imports such as Toyota and Nissan. Duties include all-keys-lost work, lock decoding, transponder and proximity key programming, and related immobilizer tasks.

Requirements

Strong proficiency with Lishi tools for standard-cut and high-security locks.
Ability to identify and select the correct Lishi tool for each vehicle.
Solid understanding of transponder systems and compatible key selection.
Working knowledge of immobilizer systems, including Ford, GM, Toyota, and Chrysler.
Ability to cut and program transponder and proximity keys when all keys are lost.
Comfort working outdoors and in warehouse environments.
Ability to follow direction, work independently, and stay focused.
Basic typing and writing skills for documentation.

Responsibilities
