Requirements
- Current GM Certification required
- 5+ years of automotive technician experience
- Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge including engine repair, drivability diagnostics, electrical repair, and modern vehicle systems
- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic software and dealership service systems
- Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Basic computer proficiency for repair documentation and manufacturer systems
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealership and GM manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, drivability concerns, electrical systems, HVAC systems, suspension, steering, braking systems, and advanced vehicle technologies
- Utilize GM diagnostic equipment, software systems, and manufacturer repair procedures to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns
- Perform warranty repairs in compliance with General Motors guidelines and standards
- Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and identify additional service opportunities when necessary
- Test-drive vehicles and evaluate overall system performance following repairs
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly with Service Advisors and management
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and warranty claim information
- Follow dealership safety procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
