Automotive Glass General Manager
About The Position
Caliber Auto Glass is hiring a General Manager to oversee the overall operation of a service center. The role includes risk management, teammate development, client metrics, production, and administration. The General Manager recognizes and retains talented teammates, monitors current financial performance, and reviews prior-month financial metrics to identify opportunities and trends. The role ensures vehicle repairs are completed thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Protech’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), insurance partner requirements, and industry guidelines and standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of management experience in the automotive industry or a mobile business.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company insurance policy.
- Must pass pre-employment screenings, including background and motor vehicle record (MVR) checks.
- Advanced understanding of estimates.
- Prior experience with OEM.
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of repair processes and procedures, including the scanning process.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
