Automotive General Service Technician | No Weekends Required!
About The Position
AAA Club Alliance is hiring an Automotive General Service Technician to perform maintenance and general repair services that help members and customers keep their vehicles safe and roadworthy. The role includes tire services, oil changes, fluid services, component replacement, vehicle inspections, and shop equipment upkeep. The company provides state-of-the-art equipment, paid training, and opportunities to advance into higher-level technician roles. The position is full-time, first shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekends required. The location is 48 W Court St, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Compensation is $16.37–$23.02 per hour, with actual pay based on factors such as experience and geographic location.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems.
- Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience is strongly preferred.
- A valid driver's license is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with the team.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position, including background, drug, and fitness-for-duty screenings.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with PC-based diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, and install tires.
- Perform maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid flushes and replacements, belt and hose replacements, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
- Conduct visual vehicle inspections and document findings.
- Maintain and clean shop equipment, including emptying and servicing portable fluid drains according to shop guidelines.
- Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills to support career growth.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
