Automotive General Service/Lube Technician
About The Position
Fausak Tires & Service is a full-service auto center focused on providing quality service and customer care. As a General Service Technician, you will perform non-technical vehicle service repairs, including oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and flushes. You will work alongside ASE Certified Automotive Technicians and receive training to help advance your career, including the opportunity to pursue ASE certification. The position also includes safely transporting customers and picking up parts and supplies in a company vehicle, conducting state safety and emission inspections, documenting vehicle condition, and keeping the shop clean and safe. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be eligible to drive according to an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) screening.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Previous automotive experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport customers to and from their residences or businesses using a company vehicle.
- Pick up parts, supplies, tires, and other items from vendors or the corporate office using a company vehicle.
- Operate the company vehicle safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
- Conduct state safety and emission inspections ethically and in accordance with company and state guidelines.
- Perform tire mounting and dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotations.
- Perform oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
- Observe general vehicle condition during basic services and report obvious needed repairs or safety concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
- Use the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle condition.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior of the building.
- Follow safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
